very big chrysanthmum breaks. bold color.fuses are designed to be connected to the next to total at 1500 grams.in my opinion the good stuff is my favorite, but all three cakes are almost the same just diff colors, unfortunatley i could not fire them all together because of my small block,so i shot them seperatly.

Very good assortment and effects as mentioned above. The Good Stuff & scuba Diver has great hard breaks, and Big Package has awesome willows. All 3 have been around for a couple years. This trio wholesales for in the mid $30 range, but will retail for close to $100 due to the weight & packaging.

THESE ARE ALL GREAT ITEMS THE ONLY DOWN FALL IS THAT THE SCUBA DIVER AND THE GOOD STUFF ARE BOTH THE SAME ITEM WITH DIFFERENT LABELS. IF YOU READ THE DESCRIPTION THEY READ THE SAME WORD FOR WORD. BUT THEY ARE STILL REALLY GREAT ITEMS.

This set is great, all 3 cakes are good. I throughly enjoy the cake scuba diver and yes it is the same as the good stuff, but it still has awesome breaks that are really big and very round, and not lop sided at all, and wonderful bright commets. the big package is also a great item to have 12 big breaks, and is available by itself, scuba diver i have not seen for sale individualy, but i hear summer of 06 it will be .

As everyone else already mentioned, this is a nice trio of cakes. I just wish they would replace Scuba Diver or The Good Stuff with a different 12-shot 500g cake.

Scuba Diver has always been available in cases by itself. It is not a WC cake. It's a Megabanger cake. Jakes just happens to use this in this particular trio of cakes.

The Good Stuff was relabeled as The Chopper in 2005, but it was still being packaged in this trio case. In my opinion, the quality has dropped as far as The Chopper is concerned. Knowing the type of quality control that Jakes has, I'd say this problem has been addressed since last summer, though.

great variety of cakes i didnt link the fuse together i shot them seperate the good stuff and scuba diver are basically the same thing. I have heard that if you link the fuses together the big package willows get a little drowned out by the others so i let sepearte. My only problem with these are they can get extremely expensive though retail

I was not aware that Scuba Diver and The Good Stuff were same type cakes. But if you are going to get stuck with two of the same cakes, you would have a hard time finding two better cakes to have a pair of. I think Scuba Diver has a pass-thru fuse so that you can chain it to another cake. Chain it to The Good Stuff and you should have a great show happening.

Oh JamesG .. I had a chance to check out Chopper April 2006 and they were a standout cake at a show with many cakes being reviewed. So good ones do exist Smile

I don't know why this is in the most popular catagory but OK? First of all its not much of an assortment because you get 2 of the exact same cakes. Second is they price this the same as the 4/1 500g cakes. Not a good band for the buck. Mabey if WC threw in 1 more cake.

I was really impressed with these cakes. Its hard to justify the price on the NOAB's when these things break bigger than some and nearly as large as the others.

As everyone has pointed out- 2 cakes are identical, But all are very good quality cakes.

The downfall I am seeing is that each cake comes packed 4/1 when purchased by the case on it's own. It is cheaper (per cake) to get a case of each of these 3 individual cakes, then it is to buy 4 of these "heavy" packages.

I gave a 9 just for that reason, 500g cakes dont get much better than this.

The only way I would reccomend buying this pack is if you buy your fireworks retail, and get get it reasonably priced.

If you buy Wholesale, do your homework...

Not sure why this wholesales more than many 4/1 wholesale, but maybe if they took Scuba Diver out and replaced it with American Trucker, I would recommend it more, but I can't recommend something that is oddly priced.

Last year I passed on this and just got a case of Chopper and Big Package. This year however our wholesaler was not able to get Big Package from Jakes other than in this trio. Jakes also just recently raised the price on Chopper(soon to be known as Cycle) so that this 3 pack now works out to be about the same price per cake as a case of just Chopper. So the playing field aound here has been evened out...at least untill the price on the asst goes up.
