Just what you'd expect; one or two at a time progresses to 4 at a time until they're gone. They last about 1 minute I'm guessing, but haven't timed them yet. I'd rather have 100-missle batteries, but these are also nice. Great effect to add to a cake or finale, but use at least two of them(or just buy bigger ones).
