The willows produced by this cake are very nice and each has blue stars that are on the tips of each willow. It is a very beautiful effect. The only suggestion I have when firing this is to use more than one at a time. One doesn't produce enough sky coverage.

I picked up two of these this year and I have to say that they performed better than I've ever seen them. They had surprisingly loud and powerful breaks, yet the hang time was still superb. I found that the sky coverage was actually very good. I shot both at once, and I only had them positioned about 1 foot apart. Beautiful willows were drizzingly everywhere. I'm thinking that maybe this cake is another one that varies in terms of breaking power (and therefore spread) from year to year.

A friend test-fired this cake at our last get-together and -- wow! -- what big booming breaks. Very loud! I can't recall a louder 200-gram cake.
There isn't really much blue to be seen in this cake.
As to comments by others that it would be best fired 2 at a time, I've got another suggestion: Fire it with a smaller, colorful cake (e.g., 36-shot Happy Fireworks), or with several, especially a fan cake or crossette cake.

Tested this cake back in September. It was a very nice performer. The shots didn't reach a good altitude, but they were loud and the willows had a decent spread. It was a pleasant surprise.

The willow breaks were high and big. They hung in the air for quite awhile. However, the firing was slow, allowing one burst to disappear before the next shot reached its burst height. Also, we did not notice any blue stars in the cake, only gold willows.

A nice cake with beautiful willows. Definitely not bad for Phantom prices. The blue stars at the tips of the willows were rather faint though.

This is a decent performer. The blue stars could last a little longer or it needs more of them. Breaks a little low, other than that, it's a good one. Shoot multiples for a better display.
